My Patients favorite recipes
Meatless Lasagne
1 Tbsp Minced Parsley 1/2 Lb American Cheese 1/2 C Parmesan Cheese Grated Coursley 1 Medium Onion 1 Tsp Ground Basil 1 Clove Garlic 1 Tbsp Sugar 8-ounce Can Tomato Paste 1 Cup Sour Cream 2 Cans Tomatos 3 Tbsp Butter 1 Lb Rigatoni Pasta or Noodles 1 Tsp Salt
Brown onions and garlic in butter-add tomatoes, tomato sauce, parsley, basil, sugar and seasonings. Simmer 1 hour or more.
Cook and drain past or noodles. Alternate pasta or noodles, American cheese, sour cream, sauce, Parmesan cheese~ending with sauce. Sprinkle a little Parmesan cheese on top. Bake in a preheated over at 350 degrees for 30 min.
Serves 8.
Note: I use Rigatoni pasta instead of noodles.
